La Farola del Mar

Old lighthouse in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, built by Henry Leapaute in 1863. It was active until 1954. In comparison to the surrounding buildings this small lighthouse is far undersized in the modern world. If you try to find it when approaching from the marina it's difficult to spot. The trucks waiting for the ferry are blocking the view.
