2:1 Macro of an Unidentified Insect

Nikon D90 / 50mm 1.8D Lens

 

- Lens reverse-mounted on a full set of tubes

- RAW processing in Lightroom

- Spot cleaning in CS6

- Final touches in Topaz Detail

 

1) If anyone can ID this one, that would be great. He looks kinda waspy, but I can't confirm that with 100% accuracy.

 

2) I tried some new stuff with lighting. I think that I may like it.
