Lots of choppas

Gilze Rijen is the helicopter base of the Royal Netherlands Air Force. The open days saw a great variety of these machines. In this formation you can see:

 

1 CH-47D Chinook

2 AS.532 Cougars

1 AH-64D Apache

1 SA316 Alouette 3

1 AB412

1 Lynx Netherlands Navy

1 NH90 Netherlands Navy

1 Sea King Mk.48 Belgian Air Force

 

Only the Cougars, NH90 and Apache are still in use in 2022.
