Only two Dutch F-35s went out on this day. Very disappointing as there were also six Norwegian F-35s on the base.
On 13 August 2021 the KLu had 19 F-35s. 8 were based in the US and 10 at Leeuwarden. The 19th Lightning II was still in Italy awaiting delivery.
