Fokker 60 KLu
Valkenburg, 6 July 1996.
The Fokker 60 was a stretched version of the Fokker 50. The F60 was 1.62 m (5.31 ft) longer than the F50. It looked good, and some 60 were ordered, but only four were built before Fokker went bankrupt. All four were used by 334 squadron of the Dutch Air Force.
In 2005 U-01 and U-03 were converted to maritime patrol aircraft and replaced the P-3 Orions when they were retired due to budget cuts. Both were stationed at Hato, Curaçao in the Caribbean.
In 2010 the F60s were sold to the Peruvian Navy.
