Rosendals slott is a small royal palace on the island of Djurgården in Stockholm, built by Jean Baptiste Bernadotte, who was a French maréchal under Napoléon Bonaparte and was elected king of Sweden under the name Karl XIV Johan. The palace has no heating and was only used in the summertime.
