Malayan sun bear, Dusit Zoo, Bangkok

The Malayan sun bear (Helarctos malayanus) is the smallest bear in the world. It can be found in tropical forests of southeast Asia. It has short, sleek black fur with an orange-yellow U shape on its chest. It feeds on a large variety of diet such as fruits, honey and small animals. It also enjoys the young nests of bees and other insects.
