Can you give me a hand?

Gustaf III:s antikmuseum, Stockholm

This fascinating museum, located inside the Royal Palace in Stockholm, is full of sculptures purchased by King Gustaf III on his 1783-1784 Italian tour. One is believed to be ancient, but most of the sculptures are copies, although some contain parts of old works.

This is supposed to be a statue of Caesar as a young boy. I haven't been able to understand what the animals are meant to be.
