Newport, Rhode Island during 1977 America's Cup

The Swedish entry Sverige, skipper Pelle Petterson, is towed into port. We came to cheer the Swedes on, but when we arrived in Newport, they had just been eliminated.

 

And the weather was dreary, too. Light drizzle and cold.
