Skogaholms herrgård (manor), Skansen, Stockholm

Skansen opened in 1891. The vision of Its founder Artur Hazelius was to preserve for posterity an image of Sweden through the centuries. There are now 140 buildings from all over the country, the oldest dating from the 14th century.

This mid-Swedish manor house from the late 18th century comes from Skogaholms bruk in the province of Närke, but the wings are from Gullaskruf in Småland.
