Kyrkhultsstugan, Skansen, Stockholm
Skansen opened in 1891. The vision of Its founder Artur Hazelius was to preserve for posterity an image of Sweden through the centuries. There are now 140 buildings from all over the country, the oldest dating from the 14th century.
This is one of the first of the buildings to be moved to Skansen. It is probably from the 18th century, and came from the village of Lilla Brödhult, Kyrkhult parish in the west of Blekinge province.
