Hickory Run State Park, PA. USA.

My wife Fran and I, along with our good friends Kevin and Bill, spent the day at this 16,000 acre park less than 2 hours north of our homes. We had a ton of fun and were fortunate to find and photograph all 4 of our target birds; this handsome Blackburnian Wabler, Black-throated Green Warbler, Chestnut-sided Warbler and Blue-headed Vireo, plus a few surprises. Being able to recognize the songs and calls of the various birds is a tremendous help in locating them. Have a great weekend all my Flickr friends.

Thanks to all who take the time to view, comment on and favor my images. It is very much appreciated.

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
