Magee Marsh, Ohio, USA.

 

We arrived at Magee on our first day at 6:30 AM to some excitement. As soon as we got out of our car, a woman came up to us and said "Kirtland's Warbler on the Estuary Trail". We geared up and walked the 15 minutes to see a large group looking for this small bird. It was very difficult to see as it was skulking about in the dense under growth, but was heading for a small opening about 10 yards away. Well, it took the bird over an hour, but it came into the opening for a few seconds. We were ready and got a some nice shots of this mega rarity.

What a way to start our trip.
