The Bobolink, Eastern Meadowlark and Grasshopper Sparrow were once very common grassland birds found throughout Pennsylvania and many other states. As farmlands and grasslands are being developed, so go these birds. They are now uncommon to rare. It's always a joy to hear, see and photograph these birds.

 

I am laid low in the dust;

preserve my life according to your word.
