TM Travel 1205
Of all the vehicle types within the Wellglade Group, Optare Solos seem to be the most varied and randomised. Almost all examples that weren’t new to TrentBarton are numbered in an ad-hoc manner, of mixed ages and originate from a variety of sources. TM Travel in particular have had a cluster of both new and 2nd hand Solos over the years, and to an extent still do.
I can’t tell if it was new to them, but one example of a ‘legacy’ TM Solo that has been with them since at least 2011 is 1205, seen here turning from Harmer Lane into Sheffield Interchange. Although it feels like the TM fleet is under-invested, at least it means you can still find an 04 plate Solo in regular traffic!
