Unbeknown to me at the start of the day, it was the first day the 34s were back in operation for the new academic year, and being a Sunday it was specifically the new 34C variant running. I only found out when I was on the tram going through town and saw one heading up Angel Row!
For the second time this year, the orange 14 plate E400s have had their appearance slightly altered to reflect their new role, as they are now the dedicated 34s while the 35/36 are covered exclusively by the biogas buses. The 'orange line spares' with branding for all the orange routes didn't last all that long, since the two biogas ones are going purple and the diesel one has already been painted as the 125 Years bus.
The first 34 branded E400, as well as the first 34C, I ever got on camera is aptly the lowest numbered orange E400. 621 is seen on Parliament Street on 18.9.22
