997 on Lime Line 58
Onto the revised timetables now, or to be more specific the interworking that goes hand-in-hand with the new timetables. In identical fashion to the previous day, Omnidekka 997 is seen with a 58 at the Woodborough Road junction, entering the city down Mansfield Road on 23.2.22
Omnidekkas 991-997 have been temporarily rebranded for all four lime line routes, so while technically not an 'off route' spot I'm still inclined to highlight the unusualness of an Omnidekka on the 58 (and E400 Cities on the 56/7/9). After all, they are kind of like limited edition Omnidekka 58s to fill the gap before the whole lot goes biogas. I'm hoping to get all seven with the revised branding and as many as I can on the 58; a nice little side quest to complete before the new E400 Cities enter service!
The temporary branding, as far as I know, only extends to the exterior, as all the interior route branding still refers only to the 56, 57 and 59. This makes sense, being temporary and all, but I don't know what has been done to the interior of the lime biogas buses.
