Strobist info: it's all done with off camera lighting although the bulb is being lit by itself. For the base I am firing a dynalite 2040 and 1000watt pack into a wall at about halfpower. The wall is camera right and the bulb was upside down on top of the socket at the time.
Just screwing around really. I saw this from Robert Miller and I decided to give it a try. Mine is 6 or 7 exposures plus the base and I used enfuse for lightroom instead of photomatix to combine them.
