review on Cycle Tech Review
Story: After the Sony review was a bust when it got discontinued, and still hadn’t gotten a Lollipop upgrade, I went looking for what else was available. Something waterproof and great for cycling but not some kind of weird military looking phone. There aren’t many options out there but the one I did find was the HTC Desire Eye. In terms of photographing it the thing I wanted to do was tell the story of the product. What is compelling about it and how do you synthesize that into an image.
Lighting: Really simple lighting. For the main shot there is a single Einstein light being triggered by a pocket wizard. The shot of the screen is just natural light in a dark room.
