They Come In Purple Too

Cornflower (Centaurea cyanus)

 

We have many Blue Cornflowers in the neighbourhood and a scattering of pink ones. I had not seen a purple one (except in photos) until this morning. Spotted in the nature strip (verge) as I walked Sarah up to school this morning. How it got there I don't know.
