Common Hoverfly (Melangyna viridiceps)

I had already taken an image that I was going to use for this theme but spotted this Hoverfly sitting on a clover leaf. I was able to get in very close and managed to 'tilt the camera' to a suitable angle.

The total width of the area in the frame is around 22 mm.
