Skink Crossing
Tussock Skink (Pseudemoia pagenstecheri) endangered
Only the second time I have seen a Tussock Skink. This one was crossing the disused section of Sneydes Rd. and looks like it has lost its tail, you can see the new tail starting to grow. They are very small, growing to a max around 60 mm (with tail). I was lucky I saw it move and grabbed a shot, from some distance, before it could disappear. This image has been heavily cropped. My previous sighting was on the other side of the Sneydes Rd. Paddock in January this year.
