Australasian Grebe (Tachybaptus novaehollandiae) male female

 

Just time for a quick visit to the Vic Uni Pond today. The Grebe chicks should hatch any day now. A difference in behaviour in that both male and female (and I can't tell which is which) didn't venture very far from the nest, giving me some opportunities to get some images with both in the frame.

Done
