Wedge-tailed Eagle
The largest bird of prey in Australia the Wedge-tailed Eagle has a wingspan of between 1.8 metres ( 6 feet ) and 2.3 m (7'6") and a body length between 80-110 cm (32-42 inches). Spotted flying in the glorious Spring sky yesterday. The Eagle was right at the limit of reach for my 600 mm lens so the image has been heavily cropped. Shot hand held.
