Activating the yeast

600mL warm water added. The water should be blood temperature - put your finger in it, and if you can't feel a difference in temperature then it's about right. Leave the yeast mixture until the surface bubbles - about 20 mins or so. Don't move or bump the bowl as you don't want to lose the bubbles.
