Packhorse Bridge over Burbage Brook
The present lack of rainfall has reduced the flow of Burbage Brook under the 17th Century packhorse bridge. Burbage Moor on the Sheffield / Derbyshire border.. The pock marks on the bridge are from bullets fired by allied soldiers on training exercises during World War 2 - the bridge and many large gritstone boulders were used for target practice.
