Roseville and Roseville Rd., 24 Dec 1973

by tisdalem2001

On Christmas Eve 1973, I went to Roseville to see what SP was doing. Unfortunately, I was experimenting with cheap film, 5247 or 5254 movie film, and the slides that were made from it have turned orange over the years. I did what I could to correct the colors, but these photos are far inferior to what Kodachrome would have produced.

Just typical SP stuff of the time, other than the Alco C-630 at the shop, which had been demoted to switch engine and was being tried in Roseville for a few months before it returned south to the LA area. The SD7s would last another 20 years in Roseville switching service.
