DSC_0286-Lodi-arch

A northbound perishables train passes the Lodi, California arch on 10 February 2018. Our February Calrailfans meet was at Lodi and this was one of the trains that passed while I was there.

Our February Calrailfans meet was on my wife's birthday, so I figured that "to ensure domestic tranquility", I should plan on spending the day with the family and not worry about playing trains.

However, after going out to breakfast with Elizabeth, Anne wanted to take a nap and have a bit of "me" time, so I offered to take the dogs out for a while. So she had a nice and relaxing couple of hours, while the dogs and I went to Lodi.

I wasn't there long, but in the time I was, the ZLCBR and then the Salad Shooter/Super Fruit came north. The rest of the time was spent chatting with the guys and the dogs getting attention.

All too soon it was time to head for home and have leftovers from our anniversay dinner the night before. Yeah, we got married the day before my wife's birthday and in 33 years, I have never forgotten either.
