3D aspect
- Statement of Intent for Environment 3D -
For my 3D area, i would like to look into structures of modern architecture influenced by natural forms. Experiment with reducing natural forms into architectural like structures and as well as investigate existing natural form inspired architectures. Such as The Bank of China by IEO MING PEI. Again to make use of the medias categorised as 3D, i intend to use medias such as relief, Mod-roc, photoshop, paper engineering and manipulation, to convey dimentionality. looking at artists such as RICHARD TWEENY and JANIS KERMAN, a jewellery designer whom creates delicate pieces, consisting of precious metal and gems. They take form of simple geometric shapes, carefully arranged into exquisite pieces. My initial idea for my final piece is to create an ornament based on the Bank of China, but combining aspects of my experiments into it.
