Ripley's Special Edition 2013
I went out shopping today and found this book. It's a Ripley's yearbook designed for a younger audience. I had kind of forgotten about it because the preparations were made over a year ago. It's nice they contacted me about this one. You may remember the last Ripley's Enter if you Dare issue where they used an image of mine I had no knowledge of. When I asked them last year, they informed me that they got it from a news agency that did an article on my water drops. At the time I didn't know that they were allowed to sell these images to other media.
I didn't mind - it was good exposure and I have always liked Ripley's. It was an honour.
I don't usually mention when my work gets published, but this is very cool. There was another this past summer where Real-The Canadian Kid's Magazine, which is a local publication, used quite a few of my pictures and I made a chocolate chip cookie with falling chips for them :-) That was a fun one.
