Southwest of Peloponessos, West of Crete, East of Sicily, Plausible Map origin of Greek and United States Flags, Jerusalem and Maltese Cross Designs

Up close detail of the Mediterranean Queen, in the Ionian Basin.

And then, a stunner. I think I see how the Greek National Flag came to be, in the horizontal and vertical canals/roads of the floor of the Mediterranean Sea. Consequently, plausibly two thousand plus years later, the flag of the United States followed in the Greek model design.

I believe I see the outline of the "cross of the Greek flag" in the convergent lines on the left side of the image.

The gps center of the cross, in Google Earth... 36.091126N, 17.304609E

I am calling the convergence of those North-South, East-West convergence lines, "the Heather Davis Convergence". See also...

There is also the strongest of possibilities, that the Jerusalem Cross, and the Maltese Cross shown here, were also the graphic representation of the geographic location of the Greek Cross. It begs the thought that possibly Jerusalem as we know it, was the higher elevation, modern representative, of this location on the Mediterranean floor.
