Burial ground for Kings, Agricultural Terracing in the shape of a Cross, on the Pacific Ocean Floor, West of Gorda, California
136 miles South of San Francisco is the coastal town of Gorda, California. Immediately to the West of Gorda on the Pacific Ocean Floor is a massive concentration of agricultural terracing, King portraits (not shown here), most certainly Temples and Pyramid shapes, and other geometric designs. Note: This area is best viewed at 40 miles high in Google Earth.
What makes this area extremely remarkable to me is the leading edge of the image is the exact North latitude location as the Straits of Gibraltar, 35.55 North. Specifically, 35.55.29.58N and 126.31.28.41W.
In further reviewing this obvious sacred burial location, a portion of which is a giant phallic shape pointed towards Gorda, ("fat woman", mother earth, in my opinion), I checked other locations around the world also at 35.55N. These same North latitude locations further include Ouahran-Oran, Malta, Rhodes, Teheran, the head of the Euphrates River, Geumsansa-Korea, Qindao-China, Tokyo, Roanoke, and Tulsa-Oklahoma City.
Maybe the 35.55 North latitude positionings are all a coincidence, but probably they are not. I am strongly suggesting that this North latitude line may have been an ancient celestial navigation line, exactly like today's "Tropic of Cancer".
I believe the ancient cultures who were buried in this California-Pacific area were well aware of the Gibraltar significance and location, and probably were paying tribute to their homeland, the Mediterranean.
Cautionary note: In looking this far back in history, I am faced with sometimes uncomfortable, frightening, sordid, even pornographic images of ancient cultures. As best I can, I am toning down the implications of what the ancients accomplished, which include human sacrifice, cannibalism, religious coupling of males and females, celebration of genitalia, all the while understanding the sacredness of life itself and religious devotions.
"Godliness" was life itself: Life, Death, and Rebirth.
And no surprises to anyone, "Godliness" was not always happiness, harmony, and morality.
In many instances, it was what we would call, "Hell itself", or stark physicality we are not used to.

Late Note: As of today, September 29, 2011, the area to the West of Gorda California, showing pristine horizontal and vertical rows of man-made artistic elements at the 2500 foot-deep level, has now been obscured "by the powers that be". The articulation found in my images West of Gorda no longer exists on Google Earth. So be it.
