Landscape Arch -Arches National Park in Utah
This arch is on the "Devils Garden Trail".
One of the world's longest stone spans stretches 93 meters across and is 3.3 meters thick at the center.
This is massive! In 1991 a 18 meter section (from the right side) fell. Several tourists were sitting under the arch at the time, one photographer caught the action on film - the photograph is on display in the Visitor Center at the park entrance.
My brother Eric & I did an amazing road trip together, our first since we were young children in the back seat of our parents 1960 Ford Ranch Wagon. Eric is very athletic for an "old guy" and got me to push my boundaries.
Arches National Park was on our bucket list and we weren't disappointed!
