Homade 12 light C6 string

this was an idea I had recently to make a c6 light string I could plug directly into the outlet without using a dimmer I had a couple of damaged 8 light c6 strings and I wanted to put them together with as many bulbs as I could and still maintain a good brightness to them, I took two sets with broken sockets and made a set of 12 c6 bulbs I had I string with 7 good sockets and a triplug and another string of 5 sockets, I took the sockets apart at the end of each string and soldered them together and then soldered the one loose end into the triplug to complete the loop they run at about the same brightness as a modern 5 watt c7 they still look great and the bulbs should last much longer than running them in a series of 8, the 4 extra bulbs are absorbing the extra current and reducing the current to each bulb they run much cooler also
