Pond Island Lighthouse is located near Phippsburg, Maine. “Active aid to navigation. The island is managed by U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as part of the Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge.
Accessibility: The lighthouse is not open to the public. The island can be reached only by boat, and landing is very difficult. The best views are from sightseeing cruises in the area.” This is how we were able to see this small lighthouse....from a distance!
