Peru 2003

Some photos from my first trip to Peru from 25 October to 18 November 2003 with Barry Walker (Manu Expediciones) as our leader. Participants were Janet Ruth, Tim Boucher, Ellen Paul and Tony Godfrey. We birded the Villa Marshes and Pucusana (Lima), Huacarpay Lakes near Cusco, Machu Picchu, Abra Malaga, the Manu Road including Cock-of-the-Rock Lodge, Amazonia Lodge, Manu Wildlife Center, and Puerto Maldonado. We tallied 754 species of birds, including 62 species of antbird and 49 hummingbird species.
