According to a report by Mexico's Centro Nacional de Prevención de Desastres, the magnitude of the event was analyzed to be a once in 2000 year occurrence. Note the broken windows on this bus, which the passengers broke out and then climbed onto the roof of the bus as the water continued to rise around us.
