Helsinki Cathedral is the Finnish Evangelical Lutheran cathedral of the Diocese of Helsinki, located in the neighborhood of Kruununhaka in the center of the city. The cathedral has become a symbol of the city.

Earlier it was called St. Nicholas Church and The Great Cathedral. The building was completed in 1852. Sculptures of the twelve apostles guard the city from the roof of the church.
