Remember:

the measure you use

is the measure that will be used on you.

 

 

seeds planted and watered

sun enriched soil

bright light and singing birds

brought forth

bent and misshaped

flowers that year.

but watered and nurtured

though broken and bent

meant

nothing more to me than

unique and wonderfully formed flowers

they grew big and strong

fed many a bird and housed many a bee

when night gave them shelter

in their warm centers

measure them not by shape and form

but by their natural gift

for they give us delight

and joy.
