In 1950s and 1960s requested priority tickets from my Representative to visit the White House, the Supreme Court, and Congress. Remember standing next to Senate Majority Leader Dirksen in the Senate Cloakroom -- I was still a pre-teen and was impressed by his suit and haircut. Saw future Vice President Humphrey speaking on the Senate floor.
