CN 578 - Val d'Or
Sous une météo plutôt humide et grise, le CN 578 arrive à Val d'Or, QC depuis Senneterre, QC, avec deux bonnes vieilles GP38-2W en grand manque de peinture fraiche (4789 et 4768) et sept voitures.
Le quai de la vieille gare quant à lui ne sert plus depuis la fin du service voyageur Rouyn-Noranda - Senneterre lors des infames coupes du gouvernement Trudeau (père) en 1981. Le bâtiment de la gare a quant à lui été récupéré par un organisme communautaire.

Under dark skies and rather humid weather, CN 578 is arriving at Val d'Or, QC from Senneterre, QC, with two good ol' GP38-2W's who could greatly benefit from a trip to the paint booth (4789 and 4768), and seven cars.
The old station platform has not served since the end of passenger service on the Rouyn-Noranda - Senneterre route along the infamous cuts of the Trudeau (father) government in 1981. The station building has been repurposed for a charity organism.
