SPACE! Now with added concept-arty verticality. It took some doing, but I got it done in the end.
Very pleased with this, so I went overboard on the pictures. I'll take loads of internal ones when it falls apart.
And it will fall apart. The weapons pods will fall off the mounts, the engines will fall off the chassis, and the entire bottom wing will fall off. Oh, and the ship will fall off the stand. It's not happened yet, but it will.
Finally, I must give credit where credit's due. The concept art, seen here, www.igorstshirts.com/blog/conceptships/2014/john_wallin_l... is by John Liberto. The really cool thing is that Dasnewton showed him the WIP picture I posted and told him, and then he sent me a message saying he liked my build. So yeah, that was really cool.
