History of a House
This morning I dropped Andrew off at a birthday party a few blocks from where I grew up. I decided to drive by and see how the old house was doing. This was the house I grew up in. It was built in 1905 and has been owned by only four families. My father purchased it from his boss (can't remember the name I'm afraid) in 1959. The boss's mom had just died and my dad bought it, as is, furniture and all. His boss's family had purchased it from the original owners in 1911. We sold it to the present owners in 1999. I went back through my archives to see how it has changed. The oldest photo I could find was 1970. All said and done, it hasn't changed that much. I really like the way it looks now.
