Mcinnis Family Home circa 1890 - Brackley Point, PEI
This was likely the second home of our McInnis Ancestors who immigrated to PEI on June 20, 1806.
The property was purchased by Angus McInnis on July 16, 1807. He purchased 150 Acres on Lot 33, for 75 Pounds Great Britain Sterling from John Hodges through his Power of Attorney Richard Rollings. It appears to have been a cash purchase and
Angus McInnis marked the transaction with his X. By 1834, the property was held by his two sons Hector and Allan.
This photo was restored by my husband, from a photo of a photo. The original is in the hands of a cousin who still lives on an adjacent property. The copy that we had is shown below.
