This is the oldest photo we have of my father. It's a photo of a photo, found in the album of my father's cousin's wife. I theorize it must have been sent to Canada shortly after it was taken. My father's maternal grandmother's sister's son immigrated to Ottawa in 1907. The families always stayed close. My father was sponsered by this cousin when he immigrated in 1950. I wish I could see the original photo and will see if I can track down who in the family actually has the album. I hope there are other interesting family photos to be discovered and whether the original photo can be scanned to produce a better quality image.
