Hi, I'm Lorn Hartshorn and my degree is BSEE. My first love is hardware, but the software work keeps dog food in my bowl. My specialty is porting real-time applications from ancient computers that I was too young to remember (70s era, or pretty much anything before the IBM PC was ever thought of) to C and Linux. I've written Linux device drivers also (that actually work and don't crash the system). Also an aspiring LabVIEW programmer. My human likes to walk me on the Historic Beaufort, NC waterfront, take me out in a kayak, or take me to play in the waves at the beach. No, I can't help you with your class project or write your app for you. Send me a box of dog biscuits and I'll try to convince my human to let me do some freelance.
