I work for Fedex in Memphis as a desktop application programmer, but spend more time configuring and manipulating apps than actual programming. We develop pilot training on desktop computers and implement it on hundreds of computers around the world. When pilots get a layover somewhere (ex - Paris, Anchorage, etc) they can review their recurrent training material. The picture is in front of a full-flight simulator. Some other lucky stiff's get to work on them, but I occasionally get to fly them. I leave my Dr. Dobb's in the break room for others to read.
