Net als de Goudenregen levert de Sering fraai en hard hout, met een fijne structuur. Het kernhout heeft de kleur van de bloem en steekt af tegen het blanke spint. Het verse hout is net als de bloem, zeer aangenaam van geur.

Like the Golden Rain, the Sering produces beautiful and hard wood with a fine structure. The heartwood has the color of the flower and contrasts with the white sapwood. Just like the flower, the fresh wood has a very pleasant fragrance.
