The Bowl of Things Lost.
Created by the Over-Mage Truasportifungus, this bowl has a strange attribute. If someone loses something that they want returned, they approach Truasportifungus who induces a trance in them, and sets their spirit on the shining road visible in the bowl. A walk of about 5 minutes brings you to the shrine. There, the person asks for that which is lost, and it appears on the altar. They place a small offering on the side altar and wake up back in the Mage's room holding the object. Anyone who goes in and asks for something which is not lost is never seen again.
The gift which is placed on the small altar is usually a small coin, or if the person is poor, a flower or a pretty stone will do. However, if no gift is left, when the person awakes in the Mage's room, the object they are carrying suddenly changes into something not nice which usually devours them.
