Jimmy and his sheep and dogs.
Jimmy, a shepherd from Albania. 59 years old, married, several children. He lives all year round alone in an old trailer. His patron gives him a place to sleep, food and poor pay. His family comes twice a year for a visit. The rest of the time he is alone with his animals.
I visited Jimmy two times. Once alone and a second time with my wife. I was allowed to spend a few hours with him and we talked about life, his dogs and his family. And I took a lot of photos and we broke up as friends.
Jimmy und seine Schafe und Hunde.
Jimmy, ein Hirte aus Albanien. 59 Jahre alt, verheiratet, mehrere Kinder. Er lebt das ganze Jahr in einem alten Wohnwagen alleine mit seinen Hunden. Sein Patrone gibt ihm Quartier, Essen und eine schlechte Bezahlung. Zwei Mal im Jahr kommt seine Familie auf Besuch. Die restliche Zeit ist er mit seinen Tieren alleine.
Ich besuchte Jimmy zwei Male. Einmal alleine und ein zweites Mal mit meiner Frau. Ich durfte einige Stunden mit ihm verbringen und wir sprachen über das Leben, seine Hunde und seine Familie. Ich durfte viele Fotos schießen und wir trennten uns als Freunde.
